John D. Bradley IV, aka Big John, Big John Doe or whatever you want to call him is a writer/rap artist that began writing short stories and poems as early as 3rd grade. These poems transitioned to rhymes his sophomore year at James Madison HS in South Dallas after listening to fellow classmates freestyle in the hallways.

John wrote lyrics to the likes of his musical influences such as Scarface, Notorious BIG, 2 Pac, Spice 1, and groups such as Getto Boys, UGK, and Outkast. Also, he admired the emerging takeovers from Master P’s No Limit, and Cash Money Records in the late 90′s early 2000′s. In 2003 Big John was part of a group called 3rd World Click with about 10 close friends from his neighborhood. The group was managed by himself, Adrian Fields (A.Deezy), and Sammy Garrett (DJ South Side Slim). John said it was fun and a learning experience for everyone involved, and these guy are still close friends ’til this day. Then in 2004 John meet a former major record label intern; Charles Gibbs that was creating an independent label called 5 Starr Entertainment. Chuck was looking for talent and heard Big John’s music; said John was perfect for his vision.   Big John’s passion for making music not only places him in the booming trend of wanting to be a “rapper”, but puts him in the position to be a difference maker in the inner city. John believes he can and will be the voice of  change in the Dallas music scene and will raise awareness of “I Can Succeed” in the hearts of the hopeless world wide.
