Born in Fort Worth, Texas, the only boy out of 4 siblings, Estevan moved to Texas from Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 10. He grew up in church and started his first praise team in the 7th grade at a mission church with his family. From there he knew music wasn’t just a hobby, but a passion. In the 10th grade, his family moved to a bigger church where he and his older sister began a praise team together. It was at this point Estevan learned much of what he knows about music. At age 15 he joined a latin band called Lared. “I learned soo much from that band and took it very serious.” The group sang covers that included everything from Cumbia to Alternative Rock, Praise and Worship to Spanish Rap. With Lared, Estevan performed at many events, earning radio play out in Midland-Odessa. After the band ended, Estevan decided he wanted to sing with local praise teams and chorales in the area. Estevan enjoyed every single practice. He always felt a challenge and never rejected a challenge that would take him that much closer to his dream. As time passed, Estevan decided he would do his own experiment and try to make his own sound. He worked with a producer from Oregon, Kid Pistol, and did a project with him called Craft Discovery, a 6 track promo CD. Despite their efforts the project never gained momentum. Following Craft Discovery, he took a break and jumped to background singing for local artist in the Dallas area. After a 2 yr break he is now working as a Singer/Songwriter with Producers Charles Gibbs and Glen Brown at Danger Room Studios. His latest release, Runaway, has received great reviews generating hundreds of plays, independently, within a relatively short amount of time. ”Love and Heartbreaks,” the first of his 3-part EP series “I Am 7″ was released on March 16, 2013.
